Creamy Macaroni & Cheese
- Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil
- Add alt and pasta
- Cook to al dente
- Drain
- Pour onto a large lipped baking sheet to cool while prepping sauce
- Microwave the milk & chicken broth in a 4-cup Pyrex measuring cup or bowl until hot and steaming (not boiling)
- Melt butter in the empty pasta pot
- Whisk in flour
- Whisk in hot milk mixture
- Whisk until thick & bubbly
- Stir in cheddar
- Add pasta and stir
- Heat through
- Add water if too thick
